A FIT MOM has shared a tasty recipe that won’t get in the way of your weight loss goals.
She said her high-protein queso dip will be a hit at your next Super Bowl party.
Health coach Bre Gachne (@bregachne_) lost 35 lbs after having a baby with proper nutrition and consistent exercise.
She documents her weight loss journey online in many of her videos and shares tips for a healthy lifestyle.
Bre taught viewers in a TikTok video how to make her high-protein queso dip that the entire party is going to enjoy.
“The Super Bowl is right around the corner, and you’re on a fat loss, weight loss, healthy, wellness journey, but you don’t want to miss out on your favorite snacks,” she said.
Immediately, she jumped in to show viewers how to make the side dish.
She started by placing lean ground beef in a non-stick pan.
“I’m using as lean as I possibly could get, 97/3 to reduce the fat content, and some taco seasoning,” she said.
HIGH-PROTEIN QUESO DIP INGREDIENTS
- Lean ground beef
- Pack of taco seasoning
- One can Rotel diced green chilies
- One cup of skim milk
- One tablespoon of flour
- Two cups reduced fat Mexican-fiesta blend cheese
- One cup of Greek Yogurt
The ground beef consisted of 97 % lean meat and 7% fat.
In another pan, she filled it with one can of the Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, $1.79 at Target.
Bre then topped it off with one cup of skim milk and a tablespoon of flour.
She kept whisking it all together until the mixture started to boil.
To give it its cheesy texture, she added two cups of reduced-fat, finely shredded Mexican-fiesta blend cheese and one cup of Greek Yogurt.
“That Greek yogurt is going to be higher in protein than normal,” she said.
“Protein does not store in the body the same way other macronutrients like cabs and fats do,” she also advised in a subtitle.
“Mix that together, add your beef, and enjoy,” she said.
Viewers were huge fans of the sporty and fit-friendly recipe that helped her maintain her figure.
“This was perfect for today! Thanks!” one commented.
“THANK YOU,” another wrote.
